Vinted Shoppers Voice Frustration Over Size Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a different size category than originally posted because of the remapping.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with other platforms.
The platform has recommended to check their listings and update the measurements by hand if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Measurement Approach Changes
Earlier, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: previously, the platform withdrew an update concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
