This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers before the title's release, to players forming strong views on the entire roster of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that emphasize their personalities, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. Much like a loyal Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Many previous official descriptions note their craving for tasty sap and how it uses its appendage to collect it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Super Medicham

Look at this absolute royalty. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, offering an constant fountain of chatter to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's very simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to predict an enemy’s next moves, which seems very like a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for frequently getting wrapped up in their feelings. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained consciousness through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. As a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict disasters in advance? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are.
